DosEEN makes it easier to see and control how much medicine is taken when using drops or ointment. This gives you a safer medication and reduces the risk of over- or underdosing.
Doctors do not recommend using cotton buds in either the ear or the nose. This is because you could easily harm the earcanal, the eardrum or the skin and mucosa of the nose. Cotton swabs also make it harder to know how much medicine you have applied because the cotton absorbs some of the medicine.
Anne Lindblom (1946-2022) had problems with chronic dermatitis in her ears. She found it difficult to dose her medicine in her ear correctly and was frustrated that she was not getting the right dose of medicine. She told her doctor, Petri, about her problems and together they started working on a solution.
Petri had previously encountered this problem with a number of patients and knew there were no other good existing good aids on the market.
Anne and Petri started working together and after research, prototyping and testing, they came up with a tool they were proud of: DosEEN, a tool that made it possible to dose medicine in the ears, nose and eyes in a simple, safe and effective way.
A product of need, idea and knowledge, DosEEN is the result of collaboration and perseverance.
